An evening spent by the durbar square in Patan, Kathmandu. I got invited by Purnima that were exited to go and watch this spectacle show that were to serve as a celebration. We both brought our cameras to try and capture the atmosphere, filled with fires, colourful people and dance. Midst the crowd I found myself stacked in the middle as the main character arrived. I managed to get a few shots before I gave up and left the ceremony, as people were too excited to remain order. 

Regardless a few hours of discomfort on the ground, a bit of back pain and a stiff ass. It was a great experience and I'm glad that Purnima brought me there.
